Using the Code::Block Quickly

This tutorial is aimed at students who are new to c language with the GCC compiler that runs on the platform instead of Linux. IDE (Integrated Development Environtmen) which in use is CodeBlock. CodeBlock is a multi-platform IDE, with compiler settings that vary, for GUI IDE can be downloaded at www.codeblocks.org/downloads for free, as open source.
Once you get a GUI IDE CodeBlock and install (setup.exe) quickly, you can run by double clicking the icon on the desktop or via the startup programs in Windows environment. The initial view is a GUI IDE CodeBlock sebagau follows:





 ~Know IDE

IDE from CodeBlock standard is like in other windows base application, which consists of the main menu and tool buttons. Because the IDE tutorial was written using the GCC compiler, the compiler does not then the next problem discussed in this section. In the picture below displays the main menu and tool buttons that you can reference from the Help. This tutorial will only discuss that in need in a lecture course.
 

 ~File menu

File menu consists of many sub-menus that dip aka to create, open,
close the project, create, open /, close the file, save the file (project, *. c, *. h
and others). Generally appears in the picture below.


~Create, open and close the Project

The first thing to do before writing the code is to create a new project,
by selecting menu File-New-Project, which will appear as a dialogue project
follows:



Select Console Application to create a console project basis, and then click Go. after that
The new dialog appears as follows:

  
Select C and not C + + for your project, then click Next, so there is a dialogue
as follows:


Type the title of your project, eg ArrayPrj, the project title project title is usually the same
with the project file name, then specify the storage project with a click browse
button beside the edit box create a project, then click Next, so there is a dialogue
as follows and click Finish:






Visible project has been made​​, as well as the main program file (driver) has been created,
filename should be your main program is customized needs of the fox. to
rename this file, right click on the file kana (main.c) and select Rename.
After that specify the name of the new main program file, eg drvarray.c, and then click OK,
so it will turn into the next picture.
